What We Do

The heart of CRM's ministry is to relationally develop missional leaders who will strengthen and multiply the Church around the world.

While the good news of Jesus is a message of radical transformation in individual lives and groups of people, it is also designed for multiplication to all the peoples of the earth. When CRM talks about developing leaders, this is what we’re describing.

CRM staff work strategically, in many contexts, to discover and empower those who will do the same. We like to call it “leveraged ministry,” which is another way of saying we’re committed to the words of Jesus. It’s the message of his Great Commission to “go and make disciples.” It’s about transformation and multiplication, understanding that both are to be a part of the life of a follower of Christ.

So what does it look like? On any given day, in ministry locations that vary immensely, our staff work to fulfill this mission...

It may take place in the quietness of a pastor’s study in the context of relationships that last for months or years, strengthening, encouraging, and challenging, for the purpose of the health of the leader and the health of the church. Sometimes it’s a church in rural America. Sometimes it’s in the urban heart of Europe. And sometimes the pastor’s study is at the end of a long, muddy path in a distant corner of a southeast Asian jungle.

Sometimes it happens within a community of believers who have committed themselves to embody the mission of God together. These communities are often made up of people who live in close proximity to each other, working together in their neighborhoods and cities to live out the hope of Christ. They create places where those in need of that hope can find relief, and train and send out more who will do the same.

Sometimes the mission of CRM is expressed in places that the world tends to forget, like the hillside slums of Venezuela or the townships of South Africa. In locations like these, CRM staff commit themselves to day-to-day relationship with their neighbors, working to reflect the light of Christ to the world around them.

In every one of these places, CRM staff work to bring about transformation and multiplication expressed through intentional relationship, physical presence, and trust in the power of God to bring hope and new life.

By the grace of God, this is what we do. If you have only recently discovered us, we encourage you to read the stories posted here and get to know us better. If you’ve been a friend of CRM’s for a while, we encourage you to look deeper and even examine your own heart. Is there a place here for you, within CRM’s community of transformation?

We invite you to find out.
