You just missed it! After a four-year run in Glasgow, we are wrapping up our work here and moving on. In that short run NieuCommunities Glasgow shaped and released a bunch of new missionaries who are bearing fruit in Glasgow, London, the US, and soon on the European continent. There are believers and not-yet-believers sprinkled throughout the city of Glasgow who were blessed by this community, and we are leaving behind a new church which is the fastest growing church in the West End of Glasgow and which is already forming its own 1-year internship to develop church planters for the UK and beyond. And stay tuned as this page will soon be updated and converted to feature our newest NieuCommunities site in downtown San Diego. We are currently forming the core community which will submerge into Golden Hill, an economically and ethnically diverse neighborhood on the south side of Balboa Park overlooking the city's financial/entertainment center. Though the political boundary between the US and Mexico technically lies 15 miles south of downtown San Diego, the real border can be found about 1500 meters south of downtown. We'll be establishing our next apprenticing missional community right where these worlds (and others) collide.
