ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Six months before returning to the US, even if only a one or two-month furlough, international staff are encouraged to fill out the Furlough Game Plan.
Download: Furlough Game Plan and file with your director and Rhonda Gervais in the CRM Anaheim office.
Forms may also be found in the CRM Just for Staff site [Forms > QMS 19 Staff Care - Furlough Game Plan]
Upon re-entry from international field assignments, staff may request a debriefing to help them process their last term and the challenges of re-entry to the United States. Additionally, transition debriefings are available for those who re-enter the States for a period of time before moving on to a new phase of ministry or a new assignment. Debriefings are held primarily at the CRM Office, but a visit from a SDCT member can sometimes be arranged. We are happy to include your children. To explore the possibilities for you and/or your family, please contact Ardath Smith. (ardath.smith at crmleaders.org)
CRM offers staff with over seven years of ministry experience an opportunity for a two-day reflective dialogue in community with several other staff members and leaders. The focus is on how the staff members are developing--emotionally and spiritually, and in gifting, leadership, and ministry. At the end of the two days future direction is considered. Our primary concern is to keep staff moving and growing in “significant service.” The process is designed to be both a self-discovery and group discernment process.
