What Are You Looking For?

Spiritual Health & Support

CRM trusts that each of our staff is intentionally pursuing an ongoing love relationship with Jesus—one of growing intimacy and spiritual wholeness. However, we know that there are times when various developmental issues, “process items,” dynamics of spiritual warfare, and life circumstances cause a person to require assistance in their spiritual journey. A primary concern of the SDCTeam is to provide support and direction during those times in the area of spiritual formation, spiritual mentoring, and spiritual coaching.

THE PROCESS OF SPIRITUAL FORMATION...

WHAT KIND OF ASSISTANCE ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

The following SDCTeam members have received specialized training as Spiritual Directors and can be contacted directly to discuss questions you might have :

Dr. Steve Hoke is a spiritual formation coach who enjoys helping people become intentional about their spiritual formation amidst hectic ministry schedules.  Steve can help you think through practical growth goals for the year, design intentional times of spiritual formation, help you design your Sabbatical time, or find the kind of resources—including Spiritual Directors that would be most helpful. His passion is to help you develop spiritual authority in your ministry.

Dr. Myra Perrine is a spiritual mentor and Transformational Life Coach, and enjoys listening and praying with people as well as working through a book together.  Myra is conversant with a wide range of spiritual formation tools and books on intimacy with God, including the following books which she has authored: What Is Your God Language: Connecting with God Through the Spiritual Temperments; Touching the Hem of His Garment: A Guide for Encountering God; and Hearing the Voice of the Shepherd.  Contact Myra directly for these books.

Ardath Smith is a Spiritual Director most interested in supporting missionaries and Christian leaders in their spiritual lives, particularly through spiritual direction and pastoral care.

Imago Christi is a CRM iTeam led by Dr. Tom Ashbrook providing a wider range of spiritual formation and direction for staff and Christian leaders outside of CRM. Imago Christi looks at a life of ongoing communion with God which draws us “toward the love of God, the character of Christ, and daily obedience to His leading as God draws us into greater, loving intimacy with the Trinity…"  It impacts character development, but it is more than any character trait or skill; it encompasses the believer’s whole-life response to the Triune God.
