Serbia presents one of the most religiously diverse landscapes in Europe, with the Orthodox Christian Church, Catholicism, Islam, and Protestantism co-existing within its borders. It is here, at the intersection of Central and Southeast Europe, that Ethne launched a team in the Fall of 2011.

In Novi Sad, Serbia’s second largest city, the team has committed to come alongside Serbian leaders to encourage them and help them realize the vision God has given them.

Together, they are seeking reconciliation of the fragmented Protestant churches in Novi Sad, planting churches in the city, and equipping pastors to plant churches in the south. The team also aspires to build relationships with Protestant and Orthodox pastors in Novi Sad, establish personal discipleship relationships with key Serbian leaders, and encourage marriages and families to honor Christ.
