Serbia presents one of the most religiously diverse landscapes in Europe, with the Orthodox Christian Church, Catholicism, Islam, and Protestantism existing within its borders. It is here, at the intersection of Central and Southeast Europe, that Ethne will launch a team in Fall 2011.

In Serbia’s second largest city, Novi Sad, Ethne staff will come alongside Serbian leaders, encouraging them to realize the vision God has given them.

Together, they will seek the reconciliation of the fragmented Protestant churches in Novi Sad; plant churches in the city and beyond; and equip pastors to plant churches in the south. The team aspires to build relationships with the Protestant and Orthodox pastors in Novi Sad; establish personal discipleship relationships with key Serbian leaders; and encourage marriages and families to honor Christ.
