While Boston is known more for its history and universities than for its homeless or needy populations, there is still great need to be found there.

The InnerCHANGE team in Boston serve homeless youth and young adults (ages 14-30) in Harvard Square and elsewhere as advocates, counselors, street pastors, and friends. Many of the young people we work with struggle with past trauma, mental illness, and drug/alcohol addiction. Our team seeks to provide a healthy community where healing and hope can be found. Our team also seeks to develop a ministry of hospitality where street youth are regular guests in our homes.

Additionally, because of the academic culture of Boston, we seek to be an active prophetic voice in churches and universities regarding incarnational ministry and God’s heart for the poor.
