Sam Metcalf


Sam and his wife, Patty, were one of four families that began CRM in 1980. Deeply committed to the vision God has entrusted to CRM, Sam has served as president since 1985. His passion to develop leaders so that movements of new expressions of the Church are started infuses his stewardship of CRM around the world. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, masters degree from the School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Seminary, and a doctorate from the Fuller School of Theology. Sam also coordinates Conext — the global partnership of CRM-like entities in 11 nations today that share mutual mission, vision, and values, all led by national leadership. Patty is equally involved in ministry with a particular focus on healing prayer and intercession. Sam and Patty live in Southern California and have two children and three grandchildren.


Jody Hovda


Jody and her husband, Paul, have served as missionaries with CRM since 1999. They began their career in Caracas, Venezuela for eight years and then, in 2012, launched a team to Novi Sad, Serbia. Jody is driven by a passion to see leaders make a significant Kingdom impact by living out their calling and vision. As she provides leadership to CRM's Ethne Collective, she is able to live into her passion by serving over 100 staff in more than 20 countries. Jody and Paul have three children.


Gary Mayes


Gary joined Novo in 1997 after 20 years of pastoral ministry in order to live out his calling to equip leaders to build the church to reach the world of tomorrow. As Executive Director of ChurchNEXT he lives in a unique position to fulfill that passion by giving leadership to 150 staff who serve on 17 teams worldwide. Gary has written five books, holds an undergraduate degree from Biola University, a Masters degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and an earned a doctorate from Bethel Seminary. His wife Margaret directs the Intercessory Prayer team for ChurchNEXT and provides personalized support for six of our team leaders. They live in the Phoenix area near their two adult children and two grandsons.


Diane Moss


With a BA in Business Administration and 18 years work experience in accounting/auditing for an international organization, in 1998 Diane joined InnerCHANGE, CRM’s order among the poor. She has served in California, Cambodia, and Romania living out her passion to see the poor, lonely, and outcast meeting and growing ever deeper in relationship with Jesus, and both encouraging and challenging believers to put their faith into actions of justice, mercy, and love. She now lives outside of Atlanta, GA, overseeing 100+ missionaries and volunteers, on 15 teams in urban centers around the world faithfully living out God’s call on their lives.


Kevin Brown


In 1998 Kevin joined CRM to spearhead CRM's communications efforts in the area of website and video production. Since that time CRM has doubled in size and Kevin's role has adjusted accordingly. He has managed several teams including IT, Communications and the Staff Training Team and led variety of initiatives including Staff Conferences. He holds a degree in Communication from Biola University. Kevin and his wife Colleen live in Vancouver, Washington, with their three girls.


Rhonda Gervais


Rhonda joined CRM in 2006 and has been leading the Staff Relations Team since 2007. Her diverse background includes business administration, children’s ministry, pastoral leadership, and most recently HR management. Rhonda’s true passion is to see people experience joy in this life by knowing and trusting Jesus, and recognizing that their gifts, talents and abilities have kingdom purpose. She and her husband, Ron, live in Anaheim, Calif. They have two married daughters and two grandchildren.


Mike LaLonde


Mike joined CRM in 2011 to manage IT and partner with the Salesforce project team to implement a new Donation Management and Processing system. He started his IT career in 1987 and worked in the private sector before coming on board with CRM. He served as a Missionary and Mission Builder with YWAM at University of the Nations from 1983 thru 1984. His aspiration is to discover more of God’s truth through qualified sources in order to be better prepared to share and defend the faith. Mike and his wife Christine live, serve and fellowship in Huntington Beach, California with their daughter Casey.


Peter Schrock


Peter started at CRM in 2000 as a photographer and graphic designer. Since then, he has traveled extensively to visit CRM teams in locations around the world and has played a critical role over the years in the development of CRM’s communication materials and general communications strategy. He holds a degree in Communication from Biola University. Peter and his wife, Catherine, live in San Diego, California.


Mark Thrash


Mark joined CRM in 2012 as the leader of the Partner Development Team. He has a BA in Business Marketing from Biola University and seven years’ of development experience as an Area Director with Young Life and a development representative with Josh McDowell Ministry. Mark’s true passion is to help people steward God’s resources and experience the freedom and joy that comes from generosity. He lives in San Clemente, California, with his wife, Jamie, and their three young kids.
